The last two days have been amazing for me! I went to see my all time favorite band Incubus Tuesday and Wednesday night, but how, oh how do I link this to makeup? EASY! What kind of makeup should you wear to a concert??? History has shown me that people always love to look hot and sexy when they go to things like operas, so why not look hot and sexy to any concert???
First, off you need PRIMER! Make that makeup last whether you're headbanging or getting down to the music! I used my Make Up For Ever HD Primer and Too Faced's Shadow Insurance eyeshadow primer. It's summer and hot, so I like to just dab on some concealer to even out my skin tone, then I like setting it with a translucent powder so I don't look too cakey. I used Cover Girl's True Match Concealer (I'm actually EXTREMELY impressed with this concealer, the payout is amazing) and Make Up For Ever's HD Powder to set my concealer. I also love the HD Powder because it's supposed to make your makeup last forever! I like to put on some eyeliner (Stila Smudge Pots) and mascara (Smashbox's Lash DNA) to add some drama to eyes. I've started to used Benefit's 10 powder, it's a bronzer and a highlighter all in one to contour my cheeks. I added some Nars Orgasm Blush for a pop of color. Now for the grand finale! I finished with some Givenchy Lipstick in Fantasy Pink to tie the look up. Voila! A concert look for me!
